HOW TO ENLARGE OR REDUCE A SEWING PATTERN?
You have just taken your measurements using the article How to choose your size?
And there you see that your measurements do not correspond to a single size but to several, no worries.
That's good, by buying the pattern, you have all the sizes, you just have to connect them with a pencil
We will see together how to connect these different lines.
Let's take an example:
- Chest size: 90cm, corresponds to size 38
-Waist size: 73cm, we will take size 40 as a reference because it is the closest measurement
- Hip circumference: 104cm, corresponds to size 42

We will start by drawing the reference lines: chest, waist and pelvis
1-The bust line is usually located at the bust dart. If, however, your model does not have a dart
At this level, measure on your body the height of your shoulder (at the base of the neck) to your chest point.
2-The waist line: in the same way as for the chest line, on your body, measure it from your shoulder
3-The pelvic line is usually located about 20cm below the waist line. You can check it on your body
starting from the shoulder.
